Bio – Glenn Jackson
Glenn is now 48 years old and was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis back in 2000. He started playing golf after having to give up cricket and football as the illness progressed.
Even though the illness is at the secondary progressive stage this does not stop him with his philosophy being “It’s not what you can’t do, it’s what you can do”.
Disabled Golf has been a huge influence on him and he’s represented England in the Auld Enemies cup at Elmwood Golf in 2021, England in the Phoenix Cup at the Forest of Arden in 2022 and feels very lucky to have represented a European Team at the Phoenix Cup in Califorina, USA in 2023.
He is the current Disabled Open Champion having won the title at Strathmore in 2023. He recently stated “Disabled golf brings so many people together for some great fun and banter. I have been so lucky to meet some amazing and inspirational individuals through golf and can’t wait to creating new memories and friends going forwards”.
