Heading to the Cornish festival pro am

Two of our members headed to North Cornwall this week to join over 400 other golfers for the Cornwall Festival Pro Am ran by the PGA. Packed with current and ex European tour players along with current senior tour pros. Stumpey Daley and Glenn Jackson did us proud finishing the three day tournament at level par (best 2 scores on each hole counts)

The first two days at Trevose and Newquay Golf Clubs respectively were brutal with high winds battering all the players. Their third day was at the picturesque yet challenging St Enodoch Golf Club. Even in such challenging conditions, disabilities do not stop both serious and fun golf.

A great experience putting disabled golf on the map.

Stumpy Daley couldn’t have been  more honoured to be able to play amongst some great PGA professionals at the Cornish festival of golf with 4 person teams. Thanks goes to Nick Reynard and PGA Professional Mark McGeehan for completing our four-ball.

What an experience for two of our Golfing with Disabilities members, something I’ll never forget – Stumpy
